Confirmation
This concept first came to the smallwares
industry at Johnson-Rose Corp, and in JIMS, it has been
modified to accommodate the buyer's specific needs, and
eliminate a lot of useless paperwork. The agent can
select either email or fax confirmations in three ways;

Confirmation that we have received the order,

Confirmation of all pricing, and/or

Price
Discrepancies only.
JIMS knows each customer's available
pricing, buying group affiliation, and special pricing
or contracts, and if there is a price difference, the
email or fax will show the discrepancy and await
approval before releasing the order, cutting back on
chances for time consuming credits. |
Instantaneous
Queue Information
Johnson-Rose knows where every order
or quote is at any time. When a customer calls, we can
tell them if it is Held, Picked, Packaged, Shipped, or
Invoiced. If action is needed to change, rush, or modify
and order, our customer service crew can let that person
know how it is going to be handled without putting
anyone on hold and running out to the warehouse.
Shipping detail is provided, if chosen by the purchasing
agent, by email or fax the instant the order is
processed from our shipping department. That means our
customers get tracking numbers before anything has even
left our facility. No more unnecessary phone calls to
track orders, as JIMS is linked to UPS and our common
carriers (FedX and DHL soon to follow).
Instantaneous
Email or Fax Invoicing
JIMS sends the contact in the
accounting department an email or fax, depending on said
person's choice. We still print invoices and mail, if
requested. However, the cost associated with this action
is in direct conflict with our "PROS" commitment and
most likely the future of all business billings.
Telebuilder
Our customer service is the best in the industry, and
JIMS is using their years of experience to drive home a
state-of-the-art new contact software within our system
that will schedule informative phone calls,
representative visits, emailing of new products, flyers,
promotions, and newsletters from our growing contact
database.
The Future of JIMS
Direct feed into and out
of our forthcoming website (including pictures,
barcodes, and reports). Customer PO's direct entry into
JIMS through website upload or email. Barcode
redevelopment for new compliances nationally and
internationally as well as for warehousing and receiving
internally. |
